The line between star and fan completely blurred during the cruise, and I feel like I had a once in a lifetime experience I couldn't get anywhere else. Daytime TV has always held a special place in people's hearts because they feel the characters they watch on a daily basis are like family. Well that's exactly how this cruise felt, too. We, actors and fans alike, were all a part of one big family sailing the seas together, enjoying a vacation together. All the daytime stars were so warm and welcoming - stopping for chats in the halls or at the end of events. I loved the cruise so much, I can't wait for Rock the Soap 2! "I enjoyed the first RTSC - my main reason was because of Scrubs - I adore Jason and Kimberly. They are my reason why I still watch the soaps. Getting to meet the other soap stars was like icing on the cake. I enjoyed the fact that we weren?t separated from them - we ate where they ate, slept in same deck and were able to see them everywhere. I always kept it on back of my mind they were on vacation too. Knowing I had many other opportunities to meet them. I notice the fans just allowed the actors to enjoy the tour as if it was a vacation as well. I hope they felt that way. I would go again especially if Scrubs went. Maybe, the next cruise can be in the summer on the east coast or a Canadian cruise? WOW!!! Sorry getting ahead of myself. "I loved the cruise. Funny enough, I don't think any of the soaps included actually air in Australia, and so I only knew of 2 actors that I'd been previously following via YouTube. That said, I had an amazing time meeting those actors I didn't know, and after day 2 of the cruise I knew for certain that I would attend again in 2010 (if there is one). The staff and organizers did a fabulous job and were extremely helpful, and the actors were friendly and gracious. All in all it made for a fantastic holiday!"
